India’s first Night Sky Sanctuary in Ladakh ready, will give a fillip to Astro tourism: Jitendra Singh - ET TravelWorld

The Night Sky Reserve, located within the Changthang Wildlife Sanctuary, also aims to promote livelihood through eco-friendly activities of astro tourism, besides boosting wildlife conservation and other scientific research. The place will be ideal for star gazers , the minister said, adding that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be requested to inaugurate the Reserve at an early date.
